Well, the good news is that the annoying spike of C1 errors is gone... the bad news is that burning this media type at 40x returns in some VERY poor results when tested at high speed. Luckily all the files are still completely accessible on the disc. A little bit worrisome is the small amount of C2 errors being reported during the high speed testing of this disc... |

Now these results are very interesting! The average quality of the disc, as shown in both the low and the high speed tests, is superior to the previous tests, however this is the first disc of this media type that has failed the file verification test. One of the MP3s that was burned to this disc was completely unreadable, however the other 180+ MP3 files were perfectly recoverable. Still, this does not bode well for this media type! |

Here we finally see the first good quality burn from this media type! The C1 errors are shown as being a little higher than I would like on the high speed test, but given the previous results from this media, I'm not going to complain! |
