Instead of a blank space, I've included the testing on the disc burned at 52x by the Plextor Premium, since the Plextor Premium does not have the option to burn at 48x. As you can see, the Plextor Premium *FAR* our performs the LiteON 48125W at these higher speeds (with this media). If you are wondering why there is a big rise in C1 errors, followed by an immediate drop, it is because the burner dropped down to burning the disc at 40x at that point. The Plextor Premium ALSO reduced its' speed during mid-burn, to 32x! FOr the remainder of these tests, I have turned the Plextor's "Power Record" function off. |

Again, the Plextor Premium FAR outperforms the LiteON 48125W! Although even the Plextor Premium is not producing what I would call *great* results on this media! The LiteON 48125W seems to be really struggling to burn these CD-Rs, especially near the final quarter of the disc! |

Finally, when burned at 24x, both drives appear to be producing somewhat decent results. Although the Plextor Premium is still noticeably the better of the two, the LiteON 48125W is at least producing something that doesn't give the impression of being ready to fail at a moments notice! Lets see if this trend continues as the burning speed is reduced further... |
