This CD-R tested very well. There were no problems during the burning process, and no problems reading the disc afterwards. Nero CD Speed's Quality Test reported no problems with the disc, and neither did the Scan Disc test. CD Doctor reported a VERY low amount of C1 errors, listing a maximum of 10 and an average of 0.439 per sector on the whole disc, and no C2 errors were reported by Any of the software!   |

There is a bit of a change between the first tested CD and this second one. We see a significant rise in the amount of C1 errors reported by CD Doctor, almost 3x that of the previous disc! It is important however, to remember that the amount of errors reported on this disc are still FAR below the point that you would need to worry about any data being unreadable or corrupted.   |

Again we see a rise in the amount of C1 errors that are reported as compared to the first two tests, and we also see that Nero CD Speed's ScanDisc utility has discovered some "damaged blocks". After some careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion that the "damaged blocks" reported by the ScanDisc test are probably nothing to worry about. If The Quality Test had also shown a problem I would be much more concerned, because both the Quality and ScanDisc tests are done at highspeed, whereas the CD Doctor test is done at only 8x. So to summarize, the C1 errors reported are a little higher then I would like, but nothing to be concerned about in my opinion!   |
