CD #1 Burned @24x:
Test #1

Almost right at the beginning of the CD-R, all three tests report significant errors, ranging from over 3000 reported C1 errors, to over 600 reported C2 errors! Nero CD Speed's Quality Check had to slow down several times (as seen above) in order to read the disc, and reported in excess of 5 million errors on the disc! Nero Scan Disc slowed down to almost a snail's pace in order to read most of the disc (averaging at 6.9x for the whole disc) and still reported 7 files as unreadable! CD Doctor presented the CD as "ok" approximately at the 24min mark. Please keep in mind, that this CD-R was burned at the "CERTIFIED" speed... But we'll be nice, let's see how it fairs on the second trial.

CD #2 Burned @24x:
Test #2

We see a noticeable improvement over the first test, but this CD-R is still FAR from what I would consider good enough for use. Nero's CD Quality Check had a much easier time with this CD-R, and reported only a little under 300,00 errors on the disc (only.. ???). Nero's Scan Disc only had a problem with one file that it couldn't read, and the average reading speed was up around 19x almost 20x. CD Doctor also showed improvements, though not enough for me to consider this disc good. Perhaps it will redeem itself on the third and final test at certified speed?

CD #3 Burned @24x:
Test #3

Well, we once again see an improvement over the previous tests! however, I feel it is too little too late. Nero CD Quality Check is still reporting over 200,000 errors, though at least Nero's Scan Disc can read all the files properly! CD doctor reports only a small amount of C2 errors this time, but even a few are too many in my opinion! Let's see if reducing the speed at which these CD-Rs are burned will help.

*note: no overclock test due to the certified speed being equal to the SmartBurn speed limit set by my LiteON
