Personal Opinions:
I find this media to be VERY interesting! it has all the same identification codes as the Generic Ritek 48x CD-Rs, and yet they constantly out performs them, and I would have expected roughly the same results! One possible reason for this difference is: Since RiData is the official brand of Ritek, it is entirely possible that they keep the "cream of the crop" of their media for their own brand. Another possibility is that CD-Burners have a harder time writing and reading media without a labeled surface, then they do with media that is already branded/labeled... I don't know if this is true or not, but it is something I will be looking into.

Okay, now let's get down to business! These CD-Rs did incredibly well! They constantly scored average C1 Error rates of less then 0.600! and there were never any C2 errors reported, with the exception of on the damaged disc (test #2), and they were only reported by Nero CD Speed. These CD-Rs performed very well at all the speeds I tested them at, and I would recommend them for people with any type of PC CD-Recorder.

The Score:
Digital Dolphin Friendly Award In Conclusion, I believe these discs are perfect for any kind of use, and I hope more discs of comparable quality will be (and continue being) made. I give these CD-Rs a 10/10. I also award these CD-Rs my highest award, the Digital Dolphin Friendly Award! Which I have only given out on 1 other occasion (see my review of the Maxell 40x CD-Rs). I hope to see more CDs like this in the future!

Sincerely,
The Digital Dolphin
