The CD:

These CD-Rs were given to me by eNovation Media, but were dropped from their regular inventory shortly after they heard the testing results! Due to the fact that this item is no longer being offered through them, I can't really quote a price for these CD-Rs, though if you really want them, I'm sure you can find someone selling them, as they have become a very popular brand sold at flea markets and the like. Now let's see what SmartBurn has to say about these CD-Rs!

Technical Specs:
Smart Burn Description The first thing you will notice, is that these CD-Rs use the Phthalocyanine Dye (Patented by Mitsui). They are recognised as being made by CMC, which I know to be accurate. It is also noted by SmartBurn that these CD-Rs are used by the brand Imation. I cannot prove or deny this possibility however, since I do not have any Imation CD-Rs to compare them to. I *DO* know that Imation CD-Rs *are* made by CMC, but the discs themselves could be completely different to the ones I am testing now. Another interesting thing to note is that these CD-Rs are compatible with speeds up to 48x (possibly faster!). Since I have 10pcs available to me for testing, we will explore the quality of these CD-Rs in great depth! and now.... on to the testing!
