|   | Well, once again the LiteON shows better performance, but this time I wouldn't blame it on the Plextor Premium! I think this media is just not very good quality, and is prone to the occasional coaster or two. I think it is important to notice that the burn quality for the LiteON has actually gone down from the quality of the disc burned at 40x! I don't believe this is actually due to the burn speed however, but more likely caused by inconsistent disc quality. The failure of the Plextor Premiums disc would support this theory as well. For the record, I would have burned an additional disc if I was able to, but I only had 8 pieces of this media type to begin with, and therefore couldn't afford to use another disc for this test.   |

|   | Here we have a bit of a switch! Although both discs burned on the separate burners were completely readable, and within usable parameters (although *I personally* would be more picky), this time the Plextor Premium came out on top with a higher quality score. I should mention though, that I always get a little concerned when I see large error spikes like the one shown in the graphs from the Plextor Premium tests (both high and low speed tests). Regardless of the error spike, we still see a noticeable increase in quality from both writers, from the previous discs burned at 32x. Let's see if this trend continues when we burn the discs at 4x.   |
