This time it is the LDW-411s that is having problems with these discs. I have to wonder at this point if maybe the disc was damaged at the point of burning? The LDW-411s performed MUCH better when burning this media at 40x, and the above score is not very consistent with the rest of the results. The Pioneer DVR-107 once again did a good job burning this disc, as did the LG 8525B. |

And finally, the LiteON 48125W shows us once again why it is important to keep buying newer CD burners if you want to be compatible with more media types. This is by far the oldest drive in my collection, and it is starting to show more and more in my testing results. It really makes you wonder about all those older 4x, 8x and 12x burners still sitting around in people's computers! |
